During the first full moon of the lunar year (Jeongwol Daeboreum), traditional folk games and customs from the pre-modern era are celebrated, including traditional games, kite flying, Jisin-balgi (ritual to bless the land), Seokjeon (stone battle), and traditional board game competitions. On Coming-of-Age Day, a traditional coming-of-age ceremony is held, along with diverse events such as Gugak performances to introduce Korean traditional music, including the Mapo Gugak Ulrim concerts.
