The Choi Kyu-ha House in Seogyo-dong is a two-story residence personally built and inhabited by former President Choi Kyu-ha. He lived here with his family from his time as a Special Advisor for Foreign Affairs at the Blue House in 1973 until he was appointed the 12th Prime Minister in 1976 and moved to the Samcheong-dong official residence, and again from his resignation as President on August 16, 1980, following the December 12 incident, until his passing in 2006.

The house preserves items reflecting his frugal lifestyle, including a coal boiler, white rubber shoes, a radio over 30 years old, a fan over 50 years old, and reused toothpicks. Many household items from the 1950s onwards have also been carefully preserved, making the residence serve as a living history museum.
