The Yanghwajin Foreign Missionary Cemetery is a historic site where missionaries who dedicated themselves to bringing Christianity to Korea, as well as individuals who left significant marks on the country’s modern history, are laid to rest.

Walking through the cemetery, where those who devoted themselves to this land during the difficult late Joseon period rest, provides a reflective space. It encourages visitors to contemplate the nation’s troubled past, to live in harmony with the world, and to contribute to global peace while acknowledging the debts Korea owes to the world.
